Softball Recap: Walled Lake Northern's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Walled Lake Northern entered their tilt with South Lyon on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Lions. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 6-0 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Walled Lake Northern pushed their record up to 26-5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for South Lyon, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 18-8 record.

Coming up, Walled Lake Northern will host Grand Blanc at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Lyon, they are taking a road trip to face off against Glenn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
