Quaker Valley won the last time they faced Hopewell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Quaker Valley Quakers put the hurt on the Hopewell Vikings with a sharp 61-40 victory. The Quakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Quaker Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kolton Johnson, who went 8 of 9 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Those 20 points gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dana Kromah, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

Quaker Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Quaker Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Hopewell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quaker Valley will welcome Beaver at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hopewell, they will square off against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
