Volleyball Recap: Powell County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Powell County was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Owsley County on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates fell just short of the Estill County Engineers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Engineers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Powell County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 18-16. As for Estill County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-26.

As of now, neither Powell County nor the Engineers have any future games scheduled.
