Basketball Game Preview: Oak Harbor Rockets vs. Rossford Bulldogs

Having just played yesterday, the Oak Harbor Rockets will head out on the road to face off against the Rossford Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Harbor is looking for their season's first victory.

On Friday, Oak Harbor opened the new year with a less-than-successful 64-57 loss to Fostoria.

Meanwhile, Rossford also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Bryan by a score of 69-57. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 672nd, while the Golden Bears are ranked 305th).

Oak Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Rossford, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Oak Harbor came up short against Rossford when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 54-49. Can Oak Harbor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
