Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Weston Sasser and Hayes Hatton Lead Slocomb to Victory + How To Watch

Slocomb's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Geneva Panthers by a score of 28-20. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Tops as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Leading Slocomb to victory were Hayes Hatton and Weston Sasser. Hatton gained 142 total yards and three touchdowns, while Sasser threw for 106 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Sasser a new career-high in rushing yards (49).

Slocomb's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slocomb will challenge Northside Methodist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Geneva, they will head out to square off against New Brockton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
