Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Cabarrus Trojans vs. Concord Spiders

Northwest Cabarrus hasn't had much luck against Concord recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Concord Spiders at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Northwest Cabarrus' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.

Northwest Cabarrus had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt West Rowan on Monday. Everything went Northwest Cabarrus' way against West Rowan as Northwest Cabarrus made off with a 66-42 victory.

Meanwhile, Concord waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 74-61 win over the Knights. The score was all tied up 32-32 at the break, but the Spiders were the better team in the second half.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Northwest Cabarrus, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Northwest Cabarrus came up short against Concord when the teams last played on Tuesday, falling 77-64. Can Northwest Cabarrus avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
