Football Recap: Strong Performance on D from Campbell Parks and Raje Torres Leads Northwood over North Moore + How To Watch

Northwood won the last time they faced North Moore and things went their way on Friday too. The Chargers put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 27-6 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Grayson Cox was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 168 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown. What's more, he posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Northwood picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for North Moore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Northwood will venture away from home to take on Southwestern Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Moore, they will head out to challenge Eastern Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 11.9 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
