Preview: Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans vs. Heritage Christian Eagles
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard and Heritage Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans are on the road again on Friday and play against the Heritage Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Indianapolis Bishop Chatard is ranked 135th, while Heritage Christian is ranked 149th).
Last Saturday, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard made easy work of Rushville and carried off a 63-37 win.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian had just enough and edged West Lafayette out 47-45 on Saturday. The win was just what Heritage Christian needed coming off of a 54-34 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Casey Frost, who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mya Davis, who scored 13 points along with 6 steals.
Greenfield-Central's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's defeat dropped theirs to 2-3.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Heritage Christian when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 61-57 win. Will Indianapolis Bishop Chatard repeat their success, or does Heritage Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
