Baseball Game Preview: King Wolves vs. Roosevelt Mustangs

King and Roosevelt are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The King Wolves will head out to challenge the Roosevelt Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

King took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Roosevelt, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. King narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Roosevelt 5-4. While the Wolves didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Jayden Chavez was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Adan Diaz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

King's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Roosevelt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
