Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Lee Christian + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lee Christian walked away with it. Everything went their way against the North Hills Christian Eagles on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

While Lee Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 28-26.

Kayce Deese was nothing short of spectacular: she had 16 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Matthews, who had five digs and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Lee Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Lee Christian pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for North Hills Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Lee Christian will welcome Lawrence Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hills Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
