Sheridan Hills Christian skates past FAU High with ease

Recap: Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks vs. FAU High Owls

The Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season. They blew past FAU High 74-45 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Sheridan Hills Christian sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sheridan Hills Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Smith, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Smith's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was AJ Seay, who scored 12 points along with six assists and three steals.

Sheridan Hills Christian has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for FAU High, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan Hills Christian will face off against Don Soffer Aventura at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Don Soffer Aventura focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 back in December of 2023. As for FAU High, they will head out on the road to face off against Pine at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
