Volleyball Recap: Tinley Park Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Tinley Park walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bremen Braves on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Among those leading the charge was Aaron Benitez, who had 18 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Tinley Park's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Bremen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Tinley Park has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln-Way East on the 27th. Bremen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
