Basketball Recap: Morrice Takes a Loss

Morrice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Hamady Hawks and fell 66-25. While losing is never fun, the Orioles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 671st, while the Hawks are ranked 91st).

Morrice's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Hamady, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Morrice has already played their next game (against Genesee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hamady, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-43 win against Saginaw United on the 7th.
