Boone Grove is on a five-game streak of home wins, while River Forest is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Wolves will host the Ingots at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won six in a row.

Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Boone Grove hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. However, it's not like River Forest struggles in that department as they've averaged .392. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Boone Grove's way against River Forest when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Boone Grove made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ingots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
