While South Bend Saint Joseph's win against South Bend Adams wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eagles 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since May 4, 2024.

Camille Potter was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Jakayla McKeel was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

The victory got South Bend Saint Joseph back to even at 2-2. As for South Bend Adams, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
