Cochran Came Up Big in Amherst's 3-0 Victory
On Tuesday, Amherst got the W thanks in part to Mackenzie Cochran playing the best volleyball she has all season. Cochran had five digs and five aces, good enough to set a new career-high in aces in the process. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.
Cochran will have a chance to log another big game when she takes on Ravenna on Thursday. Amherst is 8-1 against Ravenna going back to September of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend on Thursday.
