Softball Recap: East Pennsboro Panthers vs. Trinity Shamrocks
East Pennsboro had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Trinity Shamrocks by a score of 12-11 on Tuesday. East Pennsboro was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Trinity apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
For Trinity's part, they got a massive performance out of Taylor Lawrence, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Zea Sullivan, who scored four runs while going 3-for-3.
Trinity pushed their record up to 2-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Pennsboro will challenge Middletown at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to take on Camp Hill at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
