Softball Recap: Farmington Has No Trouble Against Franklin

While Farmington didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Franklin Patriots on Thursday. Considering the Falcons have won seven matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Farmington and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Franklin, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Farmington will face off against Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will challenge Anchor Bay at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
