Softball Game Preview: West Creek Coyote vs. Kenwood Knights

West Creek is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Kenwood a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The West Creek Coyote will be playing at home against the Kenwood Knights at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Creek lost 20-5 to Northwest on Tuesday.

Ariella Huskisson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Ariyana Lewis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Kenwood fell victim to Henry County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 17-0.

West Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Kenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

West Creek took their victory against Kenwood when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 15-4 score. Will the Coyote repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
