West St. Mary has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Family Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

West St. Mary has already played their next matchup, a 44-14 victory against Morgan City on the 13th. As for Family Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-25 win against Patterson on the 14th.
