Talon Conrad turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Saturday. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Franklin is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-7 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Conrad and Franklin are taking a road trip to take on Clinton-Massie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
