Softball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

Corona lost against Santiago back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers lost 12-4 to the Sharks. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corona's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Santiago, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corona will welcome Rancho Mirage at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rattlers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Santiago, they will challenge King at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
