Recap: Las Cruces Bulldawgs vs. Miyamura Patriots
The Las Cruces Bulldawgs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 77-38 win over Miyamura. Las Cruces might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by 22 points or more this season.
Las Cruces can attribute much of their success to Ryan Rodriguez, who scored 14 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Danae Pacheco, who scored 13 points.
Las Cruces has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Miyamura, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Las Cruces will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cibola at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Cibola is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Miyamura's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bernalillo at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th.
