Basketball Recap: Naylor Takes a Loss

Naylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 75-57 bruising from the Campbell Camels. The Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 83-61 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Naylor's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Campbell, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naylor will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marquand-Zion at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Campbell, they will welcome Greenville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Campbell knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Greenville likes a good challenge.
