Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln College Prep Blue Tigers vs. Rockhurst Hawklets

Lincoln College Prep hasn't had much luck against Rockhurst recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blue Tigers will face off against the Hawklets at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Lincoln College Prep not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 28th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Northeast 3-0. The Blue Tigers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Rockhurst had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Grandview on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Hawklets sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rockhurst was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-12, 25-10.

Lincoln College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 16-13-3. As for Rockhurst, they pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Lincoln College Prep might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Rockhurst in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Blue Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
