Basketball Recap: Eastwood Comes Up Short

Eastwood lost against Genoa Area back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eastwood Eagles took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Genoa Area Comets. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Genoa Area, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Eastwood will square off against Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Genoa Area, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Otsego at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Otsego knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matches -- so hopefully Genoa Area likes a good challenge.
