Nobody could stop Chloe Rowland on Wednesday as she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with one or fewer earned runs. On the year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 1.73 over 97.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.444/0.500/0.587 with 19 runs.

Coming up, Rowland and Franklin will square off against Dickson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Admirals have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
