Basketball Recap: Detroit Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

Detroit Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-37 loss at the hands of the Academy for Business & Tech Gators. Detroit Leadership Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Academy for Business & Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Detroit Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Academy for Business & Tech, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Detroit Leadership Academy will welcome Bradford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Academy for Business & Tech, they will take on Pontiac Academy for Excellence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
