Basketball Game Preview: L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders vs. Anchor Bay Tars

The L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders are taking a road trip to square off against the Anchor Bay Tars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. L'Anse Creuse North is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, L'Anse Creuse North ended up a good deal behind Romeo and lost 47-29.

L'Anse Creuse North's loss came about despite a quality game from Ava Kilgore, who posted 20 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anchor Bay). They blew past Utica 63-17 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tars with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Anchor Bay and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for L'Anse Creuse North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

L'Anse Creuse North came up short against Anchor Bay in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 49-44. Can L'Anse Creuse North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
