Soccer Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Benson Bunnies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Auburn of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. Benson has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Auburn will take on rival Beatrice on April 8. Meanwhile, Benson is set to square off against their familiar foe Conestoga at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
