If Block Island wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Burrillville, they should've done a better job of containing Olivia Ferraro. The Burrillville Broncos strolled past Block Island with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 34-18 thanks in part to Ferraro, who posted 15 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Block Island lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was ELIZABETH EVANS, who had eight points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of ABIGAIL WILLI, who scored four points and eight boards.

Burrillville now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Block Island, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Burrillville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-36 win against Providence Country Day on the 13th. As for Block Island, they have also already played their next game, a 27-18 loss against North Providence on the 12th.
