Basketball Game Preview: Social Circle Redskins vs. Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors

The Social Circle Redskins will face off against the Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Atlanta Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Social Circle, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Social Circle strolled past Redan with points to spare, taking the game 66-48. That looming 66-48 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Redskins yet this season.

Meanwhile, Southwest Atlanta Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Jasper County.

Social Circle will have to keep a close watch on Chase Wiggins and Jabari Burleson, a pair of players who had a big impact on Southwest Atlanta Christian's prior game. Wiggins dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 boards, while Burleson went 6 of 7 on his way to 16 points and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Burleson a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Talyn Harris, who posted ten points.

The victory got Social Circle back to even at 8-8. As for Southwest Atlanta Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
