Jonesboro waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 56-46 win over the Cabot Panthers. Given the Hurricane's advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Panthers are ranked 161st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jonesboro pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Cabot, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Jonesboro will host Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cabot, they will take on Little Rock Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
