Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Green Level

The Jordan Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Green Level Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Jordan came up short against Millbrook on Wednesday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Wildcats are ranked 21st).

Jordan's goal came courtesy of Caroline Masella, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Green Level had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Catamounts get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The contest marked the Gators' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-2. As for Jordan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Jordan might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Green Level in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Jordan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
