Volleyball Recap: Los Amigos Comes Up Short

If Los Amigos was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Magnolia on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lobos fell 3-1 to the Santa Ana Valley Falcons on Thursday. The Lobos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Los Amigos started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.

Los Amigos' loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Santa Ana Valley, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Los Amigos will challenge rival Savanna at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Santa Ana Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Magnolia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
