Basketball Recap: Mineral Point Has No Trouble Against Darlington

Mineral Point won the last time they faced Darlington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mineral Point Pointers strolled past the Darlington Redbirds with points to spare, taking the game 58-44.

Mineral Point's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Darlington, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Mineral Point will venture away from home to take on Fennimore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Darlington, they will welcome Cuba City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Darlington is on a four-game streak of home wins, Cuba City a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
