Basketball Game Preview: Piedmont Panthers vs. Providence Panthers + How To Watch

Piedmont will head out to face off against Providence at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Piedmont has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 197 points over their last three matchups.

It was a proper cat-fight when Piedmont duked it out with Union Academy on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 60-35 margin over the Cardinals. The Panthers have beaten the Cardinals the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cardinals has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Providence played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Independence 81-45. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Piedmont, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Piedmont couldn't quite finish off Providence in their previous meeting back in November of 2019 and fell 45-42. Can Piedmont avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
