Soccer Game Preview: Dixon vs. Natomas

Dixon is 0-4 against Natomas since January of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Dixon Rams will square off against the Natomas Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Dixon's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against El Camino as Dixon made off with a 15-0 victory. Cooper Ngo was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Natomas' and Casa Roble's matchup on Monday was close at halftime, but Natomas turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. Natomas blew past Casa Roble 3-0.

Natomas is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Dixon, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Dixon suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Natomas in their previous meeting back in February of 2018. Can Dixon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
