Basketball Recap: J.Z. George Comes Up Short

J.Z. George was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 54-38 to the East Webster Wolverines. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in December of 2016.

J.Z. George's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for East Webster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

J.Z. George is taking a road trip to take on Eupora at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. J.Z. George is facing Eupora at the right time seeing as Eupora is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for East Webster, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mooreville at 6:00 p.m. Mooreville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something East Webster surely won't give up without a fight.
