Basketball Game Preview: Shattuck Indians vs. Texhoma Red Devils

Shattuck hasn't had much luck against Texhoma recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Shattuck Indians will head out to challenge the Texhoma Red Devils at 2:15 p.m. Texhoma took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Shattuck, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Shattuck earned a 73-65 win over Vici.

Meanwhile, Texhoma lost 68-48 to Hooker on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 47th).

Shattuck pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Texhoma, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-5.

Shattuck came up short against Texhoma when the teams last played last Monday, falling 80-67. Can Shattuck avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
