Highlands and Vacaville Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Highlands Scots will venture away from home to take on the Vacaville Christian Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Highlands is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Rio Vista with a sharp 76-50 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scots.

Meanwhile, Vacaville Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Blazers 81-57.

Vacaville Christian pushed their record up to 14-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Highlands, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Highlands skirted past Vacaville Christian 49-47 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Highlands since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
