After flying high against Honesdale last Friday, Dallas came back down to earth. The Dallas Mountaineers were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Valley View Cougars on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mountaineers have suffered since December 7, 2023.

Although Dallas took the loss, they still got scores from Brady Zapoticky and Gavin Lewis.

Valley View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zach Cwalinski led the charge by rushing for 149 yards and four touchdowns.
