Softball Recap: Murphysboro Red Devils vs. O'Fallon Panthers
Murphysboro was handed a seven-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the O'Fallon Panthers 6-5.

Ayla Smith and Arianna Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Smith tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
