Basketball Recap: Dwyer Gets the Win

Dwyer won the last time they faced Suncoast, and KODEN BROWN did his part to make sure it happened again. The Dwyer Panthers took down the Suncoast Chargers 62-48 on Friday thanks in part to BROWN, who posted nine points in addition to seven assists and five boards. Those seven assists gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of JERMUNI SHULER, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played.

Dwyer now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Suncoast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season.

Dwyer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-58 victory against Palm Beach Gardens on the 14th. As for Suncoast, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-51 loss against Park Vista on the 15th.
