Softball Recap: Cypress Bay Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cypress Bay's offense. They lost 7-0 to the West Broward Bobcats on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Lightning's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cypress Bay's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for West Broward, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

After both having extra time off, Cypress Bay and Coral Springs Charter will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st. West Broward will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Everglades at 5:15 p.m. on April 1st.
