Basketball Recap: Ogden Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Ogden took on South Summit on Wednesday. The Ogden Tigers fell 61-53 to the South Summit Wildcats. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Logan Woolstenhulme continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for South Summit, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 14 boards. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Woolstenhulme has scored at least a third of South Summit's points. Another player making a difference was Blake Osguthorpe, who posted 11 points.

Ogden's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for South Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Ogden will take on Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ben Lomond is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season. As for South Summit, they will challenge Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Summit will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
