The Valley Christian Trojans will challenge the Snowflake Lobos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Valley Christian 3.2, Snowflake 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Snowflake will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Valley Christian extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Trojans blew past Thatcher 14-3. Considering the Trojans have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Leigha Kremlacek was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Ryann Nelson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lo Sloan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Valley Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 15 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Snowflake, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Payson get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won four in a row.
The result came thanks to Kashlynn Cantrell's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Snowflake's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Graycee Skousen, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Snowflake pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games. As for Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-2-1.
Valley Christian's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's game. The Trojans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Snowflake, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Valley Christian continue to outrun the ball?
