Pittsburg has gone 8-2 against Deer Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Deer Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Deer Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Pittsburg has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Deer Valley, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 strikeouts. Will Pittsburg keep running through batters, or will the Wolverines buck the trend?

Pittsburg beat Deer Valley 6-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
