Baseball Recap: Ben Davis Comes Up Short

Ben Davis came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves, falling 9-2. The Giants haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Ben Davis saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinton Gildon, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Ben Davis' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8.

Ben Davis has already played their next game, an 11-9 victory against Lebanon on the 2nd. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 win against Heritage Christian on the 2nd.
