Volleyball Recap: Water Canyon Wildcats vs. St. Joseph Jayhawks

Water Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the St. Joseph Jayhawks.

Abigail Barlow paced Water Canyon's offense, picking up three kills. Barlow got some help from Joann Barlow and her four assists. Finally, Amelia Jessop kept Water Canyon's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

St. Joseph can attribute much of their success to Sophie Yates, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Yates has posted over her last six matches.
